Yes it's unfortunately not the cable! I don't know anything about that watch/port but I'd see if you can see a detailed picture of a good one and compare it to yours. Sometimes you can literally bend it back into the correct position. I scrubbed mine with cleaning alcohol and got another 6 months out of it. But the charging port failing was the
Update: Contacted Garmin and they're going to replace it but here are some of the fixes I tried that didn't work. - plugging and unplugging charging cable to watch 30+ times. - charging overnight. - charging via macbook, apple usb adapter, samsung usb adapter. 1. I get something like this when the watch is connected and charging from my computer. If plugged in to a wall charger, the display will be like this where you can still control the watch buttons and touchscreen while it's charging. This is not a vivoactive 3 but should be similar on your watch. That will bring you into the music menu. First option will be "Music Providers". Go into that menu option. On my watch I only have music I have moved over so it gives me two options in this menu, "My Music" and "Control Music on Phone". Tap the "My Music" menu option. That should fix it.
