The best secondaries for a warrior are dervish and assassin. Before that you really don't use secondaries that much on a warrior as the energy management is rough. I'd go with ranger for prophecies, taking a pet can be fun. Cealdor • • 1 yr. ago • Edited 1 yr. ago. You can absolutely be a Death Knight.Ele and Ranger are the two best so from there you can figure out how you want to go. Ranger, by far. Durable, good single target damage, largest range, best weapon from /bonus, and ofc there's the pet too. Ranger for armor, pet, and ranged damage.

Really the best answer would be, the class you are better at. If you want to gear and learn a class specifically for soloing fractals i'd recommend Mesmer or Firebrand. Thank you! I've done the scale 4 Urban Battleground Fractal solo on condi Renegade for Astralaria, but that took a lot of deaths in the beginning.
Warriors are very nearly a self-contained class in GW1. By far, the most common use for the secondary class is to access Scythe Mastery or Dagger Mastery (W/D or W/A) and associated attack skills. Beyond that: W/P is usually interested in only one P skill -- Enduring Harmony. W/E is usually interested in only a Conjure skill, or Shock in PvP.
