It dwells mostly in dry deciduous forests as well as rain forests. The spear-nosed snake is typically found in vegetation that is around six to seven feet off the ground. TheMadagascar long-eared owl is about 19 inches long, making it one of the largest giant owls on the island. It can reach lengths up to 20 inches.
